background of cypress. Since cypress has founding in 1982 by T.J Rodgers, it
ranks in the top fifteen U.S semiconductor companies. their goal is reaching to
be a 10 billion-dollar company. but, they failed to reach that.
They
targeted to select niche markets which it believed would be ignored by major
companies. But they had a problem. Because, Cypress has struggled to execute its
current strategy of competing in the high-volume, low margin business in
low-volume niche markets.

Cypresss competitive advantage comes from continuous improvement in the cost
efficiency and productivity of operations, the implementation of programs for
reducing cycle times and inventory, and the constant introduction of innovative
products.
Second thing what I want to tell is The philosophy of the
Cypress. T.J Rodgers began work in 1973 at AMI. which was a relaxed, supportive
environment. But AMI disappeared. Cause of that Rodgers thought Winning is what
matter which is meaning that Winning the most important.
